Research Journal Assignment #13

A. I did a survey/poll with 25 of my co-workers.
The Question: Should the Holocaust be taught in public schools and why?
21 peoples answers were yes that the Holocaust should be taught in public schools.
4 peoples answers were no that it shouldn't be taught in public schools.
Two of the four people gave their responses on why they think that the Holocaust should not be taught in public schools. One reason was they didnt want their child to be taught about hatred at a young age. The second reason was that their family was Jewish and they didn't want their child to know what their ancestors went through until they were old enough to fully understand the content.
